I work in commercial HVAC and this vest completely transformed how I work on tough jobsites. We were outfitted with these during a hospital remodel with almost zero clearance above the ceilings. The snug fit is perfect for tight spaces and the premium material quality is obvious right out of the box. It takes a little time to break in, but it quickly moves perfectly with your body. Having all my tools and hardware right on my chest made demolition and installation incredibly efficient. I was initially skeptical of the plastic tool rails, but they proved to be absolutely indestructible under heavy daily abuse. My only minor critique is that I would love adjustable shoulder straps on a future model so it could sit a bit lower. I have been using this vest for over a year. It is perfect for commercial HVAC field work. I am able to attach my pouches to it and it holds a good amount of my tools. It distributes the weight nicely so I don’t feel too overburdened. I would definitely recommend this vest.

I have been using the shop pockets vest for about a year now and out of all the vests I’ve had, it is by far the nicest. It does start out pretty stiff but after a short time in the dryer it formed to my shape and has maintained the shape. I work commercial HVAC so I spend a lot of time in elevated work environments so the tool pouch adapter are a nice way to help keep my tools in arms reach. I also have to tie off a lot and the hole in the back of the vest allows me to properly wear my harness and still keep the vest and pouches in their normal configuration.  The zip in extender was great during the winter time. Allowing me to wear this set up over my coat and bibs.  It has held up through a wide variety of task that include welding and demolition of old duct systems that would have shredded other vests I’ve had. I have been using the shop pockets vest for over 15 years.  I just ordered my third vest so I get around 7 years of daily use from each.  A regular tool belt was hard on my hips.  The vest solved that 100%.  It is quicker to put on and take off as well than a tool belt.  You can use whatever bags you like.  Your bags clip onto the vest in less than as a minute.
